1.   What is the time limit to complete a distance training program?
All programs must be completed within 6 years. LTI is gracious and extensions may be applied for in writing.

2.   After I finish a certification program, will those courses count as credit for different programs?
Yes

3.   Are other courses accepted from other learning institutions?
Yes, a limit of 3 courses and as long as the course material is comparative.  Provide a transcript or other descriptive information so a decsion can be made.

4.   Is there continuing education requirements or re-certification for the Certification Programs?
Yes, only for the certification programs. That is easily maintained by taking other offered courses classroom or distance learning or by submitting a re-certificaiton fee.

5.   What texts are used and how are they obtained?
Some courses are published books that are easly obtained from Amazon.com or other retail outlets.  Some texts are supplied from LTI with the tuition payment.  It is the students responsibility to obtain the required texts/materials for their program.  

6.   Can I get a book list for all the courses in my program?
Yes. The book list is listed with each program on the web site. 

7.   Will you email or mail the course questions?
The course questions are on the web site.  They can be mailed for a fee of $10/exam.

8.   Can I just email the course answers or must I mail them?
The answers may be faxed, emailed, or mailed. It is prudent to keep a copy in case it gets lost in the mail.

9.   Will I be able to obtain a transcript of completed courses?
Upon graduation you can request a transcript.  Additional transcripts are $25 each.

10. Tell me about the examinations for the courses?
The examination questions for the distance learning courses are open book and taken right out of the text.  Most are multiple choice, True/False, fill in the blank, or short answer. The examination questions for the classroom courses are straight forward and open book.

11. Tell me about the license and is there a license number?
The license is a ministry license and is in no way connected to the state or government.  The number issued with the license is for tracking and identification purposes of the seminary.

12. Is there a graduation ceremony and a fee?
Currently there is no official graduation ceremony.  Those completing the Biblical Naturopathic Doctorate Program can be issued their diploma at any classroom class and they will be honored before the class. There is no fee.

13. Can I switch between Options in the Biblical Naturopathic Program?
No, after initiating an Option with payments there is no switching between Options.

14. Having completed the Certified Professional Naturopath Program, how would I obtain the Biblical Naturopathic Doctor Degree?
Just complete the remaining requirements and pay the assocaiated fees.

15. Will completion of the iridology course from the International Iridology Practitioner's Association (IIPA) count for credit?
Yes, just provide a copy of your certificate of completion. If you did not receive certification from that organization, you will need to pass the exam.

16. Do you offer online training with video streaming?  
Yes, that is offered for 14 of the classes at vimeo.com. 

17. Is completion of iridology course accepted for certification with IIPA?
Course is taught in accordance to IIPA standards.  The application to be ceretified with IIPA is provided to the students. 

18. Can a classroom class be offered in my state and home town?
Yes. Classes are normally held in churches, and there needs to be at least 20 students for a class.

19. Must I type the answers to the distance learning courses?
Yes

20. What education do I have to have before enrolling in a certification program or the Doctorate Program?
High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

21. Are meals and accomodations provided for the classrooom courses?
LTI does not provide meals or accomodations. Classes are held in churches and the student may either bring food or go out for lunch. LTI does try to recommend hotels near the training location.  

22.  How will I be notified if a classroom course is cancelled?
LTI will call the students who are registered.

23. Will I be reimbursed for travel expenses if a classroom course is cancelled?
If a classroom courses is cancelled, it will be done in as timely a matter as possible. LTI does not reimburse for travel expenses.

24. Do I get my money back if a classroom course cancels?
If we cancel the class, a full refund is made. If you cancel the class there is a $25 cancelation fee.

25. May I retake a classroom course?
Yes, but there will be a re-sit fee depending upon the class and how long since you took that particular course.

26. Can I register for a classroom course and pay later?
Payment is required at time of registration.

27. Do I have to take the classes in order?
No, but it is recommended as some courses are better understood with preceding course work.

28. How much do I pay to have a new diploma or course completion certificate re-printed?
A large diploma replacement costs is $69 and a small certification certificate is $49.

29. What are the benefits of maintaining my certification?

  • You receive a free wallet identification card
  • Eligibility to continue with other training programs
  • Obtain training materials
  • Eligibility to re-attend a live training class
  • Receive newsletters to take advantage of new programs and specials

  • Able to transfer your completed courses for credit towards other training programs
  • Replace your certificate if lost or destroyed
  • Able to receive a transcript for obtaining credit with other institutes
  • Opportunity to become a licensed minister

30. How do I become an instructor for LTIs classroom courses?
Apply to LTI if you are already an established practitioner or successfully complete the Biblical Naturopathic Degree, establish a practice, and make application.
